National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – September 30

September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is also Orange Shirt Day which seeks to remember the children and families who died while in the school system or who were negatively affected by the Residential School System. On September 30th, parishes are invited to pray for the intentions of the Indigenous Peoples, those affected by the Residential School System and for healing and reconciliation.
